It opened in 2000 as Miyakojima's first izakaya serving island songs.The name has been changed to "Shimauta Rakuen Bunmyaa," and while live music is the main focus, this is Miyakojima's original Shimauta izakaya, which is visited by more than 20,000 tourists a year as a restaurant where you can enjoy authentic island cuisine cooked by islanders.
